ABOUT ME

Author, architectural designer, mom and creator. If there was a category for Renaissance woman, I’d signup! Life, for me, is about exploring, trying, tasting. Feeling the warm sand beneath my toes on a hot beach and then writing about it in my latest novel. Even though I’m an introvert and do most of my creative work out of my forest cabin, I deeply love and need to help others. In the late night graduate studios of McGill School of Architecture, you’d find me listening to my peers “What do I do with my life!?” ramblings until 1am while we drew and sketched. As a gallery guide at the AGO in Toronto, my favourite questions were “What is your favourite piece here? And how does it make you feel? Do you create?”

After working and studying for many years in the arts and architecture, I left the office world to teach as a Professor, helping to guide and shape young minds, to write and to spend more time with my family. Now I’m a PPCC certified coach from Concordia University’s John Molson’s Executive Center and hold a certificate in mindfulness stress reduction MBSR (Jon Kabat-Zinn) from Mindul Leader.

I’ve worked with musicians, stylists, small business owners, artists, project managers and architects. From finding more satisfaction in their current jobs to selling paintings in galleries, my clients have gained fulfillment from achieving their next phase. Life if ever-evolving and if we move with it, we can harness enormous potential.
